MCLEAN 9-11 SOFTBALL CROWNED STATE CHAMPIONS

McLean opens the state tournament with a 17-0 win against District 8 Aragona-Pembroke. The second game brings a 22-0 win against District 3 Luray. And the final game brings an 18-0 win against Spotsylvania. This win puts McLean in the championship game where they meet Spotsylvania again, and win in dominating fashion, 20-0.

The McLean team now goes on to the Tournament of State Champions being held in Clarksville Tennessee from July 29-August 1.

Little League does not have regional tournaments or world series for the 9-11 year old divisions. The TOSC is designated as "Special Games" and is a tournament hosted by a local league who invites the state winners to play.
