VIENNA AMERICAN 9-11 BASEBALL CROWNED STATE CHAMPS

Vienna American opens pool play with a 11-1 win against District 8 Virginia Beach. Follows that with a 13-1 win against McIntire. And finishes pool play with a 17-3 win over Loudon South.

In the semi-finals, Vienna American cruises to a 6-2 win over Atlee and then wins the championship with a solid 3-0 over York County.

CONGRATULATIONS!

The Vienna American team now goes on to the Tournament of State Champions being held in Wilson, NC from July 29-August 1.

Little League does not have regional tournaments or world series for the 9-11 year old divisions. The TOSC is designated as "Special Games" and is a tournament hosted by a local league who invites the state winners to play.
